Proof

71 of 71 accepted by ZATCA's simulation.

Two Saudi companies, a chemicals manufacturer on SAP ECC and a trading company on SAP Business One, ran 71 real documents through ZATCA's simulation environment: invoices, credit and debit notes, exports and foreign currency. All 71 were accepted, with no rejections. Separately, 1,259 anonymised production invoices from a SAP Business One company passed ZATCA's test environment with no warnings.

ZATCA does not certify software; every business onboards its own device with ZATCA.

FAQ

ZATCA Phase 2 questions

Who is in Wave 25?

VAT-registered businesses whose revenue subject to VAT was above SAR 187,500 in any of 2022, 2023, 2024 or 2025, according to ZATCA's announcement. ZATCA notifies the businesses in each wave.

What is the difference between clearance and reporting?

Standard (B2B) tax invoices are sent to ZATCA and cleared before they go to the buyer. Simplified (B2C) invoices are issued to the customer and reported to ZATCA within 24 hours.

Do we need to replace our ERP or accounting system?

No. Kensho works alongside it: upload invoices from Excel or CSV, connect SAP Business One, or send invoices from any system through the API.

We use SAP Business One. What changes for us?

The connector reads your A/R invoices, credit and debit memos, issues them as e-invoices and writes the ZATCA status, UUID and QR code back to the document, so your print layout can show the QR.

What happens if an invoice is rejected?

Kensho shows ZATCA's message, lists rejections and warnings in a report, and lets you correct the data and issue a new document.

Can our data stay on our own servers?

Yes. Kensho can run on your own server or cloud account, with licences supplied as a signed file, so Kentech never needs a copy of your data.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Every hosted plan starts with a 14-day free trial at einvoice.kentechit.com, or book a 15-minute demo and we will walk you through it.

Is Kensho approved by ZATCA?

ZATCA does not certify e-invoicing software. Each business onboards its own invoicing device with ZATCA using a one-time password from the FATOORA portal. Kensho passed ZATCA's simulation environment with 71 of 71 real SAP documents accepted.
